Lack-Tuscarora EMS is looking for baked goods for their egg hunt on Sat., Apr. 19. There’s a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for anyone who would like to donate.

Community Outreach

We are hosting a Men’s Lenten Breakfast this year at the Grange on Mar. 22, Apr. 5, and Apr. 19. The breakfast is for all men and boys, and it’s free for you! The speakers are: Gary Becker (3/22), Caleb Burd (4/5) and Caleb Snook (4/19).

Easter Egg Hunt

We’ll be doing an egg hunt following the worship service on Easter Sunday!. Bags of plastic eggs are still available in the foyer for anyone to take home and fill with candy for the hunt.

Holy week at sjbc, 2025

• Palm Sunday (4/13)—The sanctuary will be decorated for Holy Week with palms and lilies, and the sermon will be on the Triumphal Entry, from Matthew 21:1-11.

• Maundy Thursday (4/17)—We’ll be in the pavilion, enjoying a kettle of lamb meatball soup, made by this year’s leadership training group. There will be a devotional and time of singing, too.

• Good Friday (4/18)—We’ll be back in the sanctuary for a time of somber reflection on the cross of Christ.

• Easter Sunday (4/20)—Our celebration of Christ’s resurrection begins in the cemetery, makes a pit stop in the fellowship hall, and ends in the sanctuary. He is risen, indeed!

Adventure Club (pre-k to 8th grade)

Meets Wednesdays at the church from 6:30 to 7:30pm

Y.E.T.I. (youth group, 9th to 12 grades)

Meets 1st and 3rd Sundays at the church from 6 - 8pm
